IMPORTANCE OF AIDING MILITARY OFFICIALS/VETERANS
Being born in a country means you have a responsibility to love, respect, and protect the values for which the country stands (the anthem, flag, and office of the president). While many citizens respect and honor these national emblems, some brave men and women of this great nation take it to another level. They do so in many ways, with the most common being
- Serving the military
- Or better still, as first responders in an emergency or crisis like the current coronavirus pandemic.
However, our focus for this research is to identify the importance of aiding military officials such as veterans, active and reserve, victims recovering from injuries with health issues, and low-income families with analyzing and vending business structures.
The United States Military
The bravery of these men and women often leaves us battling to the point where we sometimes think they aren’t humans. Why wish this is the case? The reality is that they remain humans irrespective of how brave and committed they are to their craft or service to their nation. And like all humans, they have needs and wants to be met. Notably while in active service or at retirement.
Remember, their bravery and sacrifices do not make them any less human. Instead, it sets them miles apart from the rest and deserves accolades for their courage. While some of these servicemen and women returned home to their families, others were plagued with health-related issues. All of which were engineered by their experience and what they saw on the war fronts. For these, they derve more than a medal around their necks.
Importance of Aiding Military Officials/Veterans
Considering the tip mentioned above, here are some of the importance of aiding military officials such as veterans, active and reserve, victims recovering from injuries with health issues, and low-income families with analyzing and vending business structures.
After retirement from the force, very few veterans can afford a decent or suitable paid job except for only a lucky and educated few start-up businesses or recruited by private military companies. With such limited opportunities allocated to these servicemen and women, here are some reasons why the government should make it a priority when it comes to aiding military officials.
- To protect the nation’s military history and achievements
- To encourage young and aspiring serve men and women about the importance of serving one’s nation
- To reward the efforts and bravery of service members for successfully and diligently serving and protecting their fatherland with their love, their sweat, and blood
- Lending a hand to these servicemen and women at their lowest (low income, injuries suffered, health-related issues) shows gratitude to the nation and appreciation for their bravery and sacrifices.
- Free medical care and housing sandwiched with an adequate pension will change the lives of these veterans for good. Also, it will restore the smiles on their faces on graduation day.
Final Note
Military officials and veterans are brave and decided to defend, protect and die for the nations and people of the United States. So the least they deserve in return is a little support and care from the country and government they served and helped protect. This will help ease their integration into the civilian population and, of course, make them feel rewarded for their efforts in the military.
