BEST-PAID JOBS IN THE MILITARY

Like most jobs across the globe, the military, especially in the United States mouthwatering pay packages and incentives for those in the force. Although patriotism, zeal, and determination to be part of something bigger than oneself is the core reason many join the military, others join the army for the remuneration and money that comes with serving in the military.

In the military, the rates are fair and bound to increase throughout your stay in the force. Other factors contributing to this include your skillset, longevity, and ability to take on helpful military courses. It is also worth noting that millitary personnels who earn the most money also have transferable skills that can be employed should they decide to work and take jobs away from the military core.

Here is a list of some of the highest-paying jobs in the military. Some of them include Air Crew Officers, Command and Control Center Officers, Special Forces Officers,  Artillery and Missiles Officers, Aircraft Launch and Recovery Officers, Armored Assault Vehicle Officers, Healthcare Personnel

  1. Aircrew Officials

Aircrew officials or flight instructors, as they are called in the civilian setting, are a crucial job in the military. This is the case because they perform and direct in-flight duties for search and rescue missions, surveillance, etc. In addition, they are responsible for controlling numerous military operations and assignments. Aircrew officers with 20 years of experience earn up to $80,000 annually.

  1. Command/Control Center Officers

As their titles suggest, they are in charge of controlling and managing critical communication channels between ground, air, and naval forces. They also are responsible for coordinating emergency response services. These officers earn an average annual salary between $76,250 to $130,420, depending on their job description.  

  1. The Special Forces Officers 

These highly skilled officers have undergone numerous rigorous training to get their skills. As a result, they are physically fit and highly intelligent. They work in top-notch teams to carry out search and rescue missions, raids, counterterrorism, and demolition. These officers can earn an average of $76,250 annually.

  1. Artillery and Missiles Officers

They are on the list of most dangerous jobs in the military because they may have to direct the operation and maintenance of intercontinental ballistic missiles, field artillery, nuclear munitions, fire control, and weapons security. Generally, they manage operations, weapons, and service personnel. These officers can earn approximately $76,270 annually.

  1. Aircraft Launch and Recovery Officers 

Without these officers, aircraft systems will be a total disaster. They are responsible for planning and directing the operation and the maintenance of control, hydraulic and mechanical systems, arresting gear, and maintenance of catapults. All these are necessary during takeoff or landing. Aircraft launch and recovery offers can make $70,000 annually.

  1. Armored Assault Vehicle Officers 

Armored Assault Vehicle Officers have the following functions. 

  • Direct light armor operations 
  • Amphibious assault vehicle units
  • Control tanks on land or water during combat

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, armored assault vehicle officers make about $53 520 annually. 

  1. Healthcare Personnel

The Healthcare Personnel in the military encompasses those in dental, medical, and pharmacy services. They ensure military personnel is fit to perform their duties all year round. Some healthcare personnel can earn a whopping $121,500 a year.
